Hey Fam:)
Quote of the Week: "Confidence isn't walking into a room thinking your better than everyone, it is walking in and not having to compare yourself to everyone."
Let's all gain more confidence in ourselves, by not comparing ourselves to others so much:) Be proud of the person you are and always seek slight improvement!
This week was dooooope! We had 9 investigators at church, and continued to prepare Dona Gungob, Levi Galvez, and Mico Cleo Galvez for their baptism this upcoming Saturday! I was so proud to hear their testimonies and growth when I did the practice interview with them:)
Mico Cleo (14) was especially grateful for the changes he is making. Their house is cool because it is really small, however they have a 3 story bunk bed built into it. We talked about missions, Temples, the Restoration, prophets, the Book of Mormon, friends, trials, and all the commandments on the top bunk just him and I. By the end he was convinced he wanted to serve a mission too. He asked if he could give his Book of Mormon to his friend! Haha it was awesome.
Levi Galvez is Mico Cleo's cousin. He is my favorite tbh. They feel like they are all my little brothers now. Their personalities remind me a lot of the minis:)
Dona Gungob is 15, she is the cousin of our recent convert Angieleen. She has memorized just about every lesson word for word now and loves reading the Book of Mormon! I'm praying she will serve a mission because she would kill it as a missionary!
We had an FHE at their house on Sunday! We had tons of members, and it was rewarding to see the chain reaction of missionary work in that house. Jormay (24 years old) conducted the FHE. He has been a member for 1 year now and is the young men's president. Prince was my first baptism in this area. Then his cousin Charlie followed him. Now on Saturday Mico and Levi will follow. Next week Mio Choi will be baptized. Then the following week, their mom Rosalyn will probably be baptized. There are so many others that are starting to listen more which just makes me so happy!!
All of our recent converts are always wearing their Choose The Right necklaces I gave them! It makes me happy to see they have that remembrance every day:)
Anyway, there were a lot of stuff that happened this week that I guess you will never know Bc I'm tired now and out of time! Love ya guys😜❤️
